Export Training in Semarang City

Semarang, 7 December 2024 - DPP Association of Indonesian Export Companies (GPEI) held export training activities at the Park View Metro Hotel Semarang and invited the Surabaya Export Center to be a resource person at this activity to provide understanding to business actors regarding the insights needed in the export process. GPEI held this activity to welcome the National Conference (Munas), which was attended by the administrators of the GPEI DPP, GPEI DPD for Central Java, DIY, Kalimantan, etc. as well as more than 30 business actors as participants in export training outreach. Mr. Toto Dirgantara as secretary general of DPD GPEI gave an initial speech, then the speech was continued by Mrs. Ade as DPD GPEI Central Java, and the opening was opened by the Director of P2IE DJPEN, Ministry of Trade of the Republic of Indonesia, namely Mr. Arief Wibisono. Mr. Arie Indrawanto, ECS technical staff, started the activity by explaining the structure, functions and programs of ECS, which is an extension of public services from the Ministry of Trade. He also presented material related to information on effective international supply chain management. Mr. Aksamil Khair, as ECS technical staff, also took part in presenting material regarding digital marketing strategies for the export market, and explained how to register as members and use InaExport. The final presentation and closing of this export training socialization activity was carried out by Mr. Jalian Setiarsa, ECS technical staff, by explaining international standardization, standardization of products such as labeling, company profiles, product catalogues, business cards, and so on. This activity is also a product introduction activity by buyers from America, namely Mr. Bryan. The product introduction was carried out in a hybrid manner, buyers were present online via Zoom, this was done to find out whether the products from business actors participating in the activity had the opportunity to enter the international market.
