Probolinggo Regency Featured Product Curation

Thursday (30/5) Head of the Department of Cooperatives, Micro Enterprises, Trade and Industry of Probolinggo Regency, Taupik Alami, S.Sos, M.Si, led the Probolinggo Regency Featured Product Curation activity. Taupik Alami mentioned in his speech and presentation the potential for superior products from Probolinggo Regency, both food, drink and handicraft products. Unfortunately, this potential cannot be optimized because business actors still have limited information regarding how to market these products abroad, so so far marketing has been in the local market. Therefore, the Department of Cooperatives, Micro Enterprises, Trade and Industry of Probolinggo Regency initiated collaboration with the Surabaya Export Center to provide enlightenment to increase promotion and marketing of Probolinggo Regency's superior products on the global market as a form of government concern for MSMEs. The Surabaya Export Center also helps open up opportunities for MSMEs to take part in the Trade Mission to the Netherlands, Trade Mission to Canada, and ASEAN Sale Online Day, as well as entering the Indonesian B2B Marketplace where previously they needed to go through curation of products that were ready for export. This is the basis for holding this Probolinggo Regency Featured Product Curation event. A presentation related to InaExport was also delivered at this curated event by Aksamil Khair as Technical Personnel for the Results of International Trade Agreements at the Surabaya Export Center as InaExport is a supporting platform that will make it easier for business actors to meet with potential buyers from abroad and get information about other exports. This product curation activity was attended by the heads of divisions at the Department of Cooperatives, Micro Enterprises, Trade and Industry of Probolinggo Regency as well as 14 MSME actors in Probolinggo Regency.
