Curation of Featured Products of Situbondo Regency

Friday (31/5) Head of the Situbondo Regency Cooperatives, Industry and Trade Service, Eddy Wiyono, S.Sos, M.Si, opened and accompanied the Situbondo Regency Featured Product Curation event at the Situbondo IKM Pasir Putih Center Building. Eddy Wiyono mentioned in his speech regarding regional superior products in the form of food, drinks and handicrafts with marine products such as fish, shellfish, squid and so on considering that Situbondo Regency is very close to the coast, namely Pasir Putih Beach. It is hoped that through this activity all MSMEs in Situbondo Regency will receive enlightenment in order to improve promotion and marketing in the global market. Apart from that, as a form of government concern, the Situbondo Regency Cooperatives, Industry and Trade Service, is seeking good cooperation with the Surabaya Export Center as an extension of the Directorate General of National Export Development (DJPEN) in bridging business actors with prospective buyers abroad. The Surabaya Export Center also introduces Situbondo Regency's superior products to the global market by participating in the Trade Mission to the Netherlands, Trade Mission to Canada, and the ASEAN Sale Online Day event, as well as entering the Indonesian B2B Marketplace. Therefore, it is necessary to select products that comply with export standards and are ready for export. This curation activity also provides insight regarding standardization of export products, legality of products to be able to compete in the global market and invites business actors to immediately register their products on InaExport as one of the platforms from the Ministry of Trade which facilitates its members to be able to find buyers and information about other exports.
