Youth Entrepreneurship and Employment Support Services (YEESS): Business Matching for Young Entrepreneurs in Bogor

Bogor, 10-12 December 2024 - The Agricultural Extension and Human Resources Development Agency (BPPSDMP) in collaboration with the Export Center Surabaya (ECS) held a Business Matching activity which is part of the Youth Entrepreneurship and Employment Support Services (YEESS) program at the Savero Style Hotel, Bogor. This activity aims to increase synergy between business actors and potential international buyers. As many as 20 business actors attended, bringing their products to be curated and presented to buyers from Singapore. This activity includes export training and mentoring through the InaExport platform. At the opening of the event, Mr. Ferry from SAP Media Communications expressed his hope that this activity could support economic growth in West Java. Training material was delivered by several resource persons. On the first day, material was given by Mr. Jalian Setiarsa as Coordinator of Technical Personnel for Promotion, Market Access, Marketing and Standardization of Export Products related to the export process, packaging, and components in the packing list for delivery according to export standards. Then on the second day the event was filled with a question and answer session and presentations regarding the potential of the Japanese market, where Mrs. Mery Astrid Indriasari as Tokyo Trade Attaché provided insight into Japanese consumers' preferences for quality and healthy products. Next, material was provided by Mr. Aksamil Khair as Technical Personnel for the Implementation of Results of International Trade Agreements, InaExport, and Relations between Institutions regarding market segmentation and the use of InaExport in developing business in international markets. As a result of this activity, 13 products from various companies were selected to be marketed to Singapore, including: CV. Haza Food Indonesia - PT. Anugrah Mahkota Bumi - PT. Lentera Bumi Nusantara - Henahuafiz Production House - PT. Ruhaelz Global Industri - PT. Wins Indonesia Success - PT. Sustainable Food Innovation - PT. Djiteng Spore Grow - PT. Innovative Brebes Synergy - PT. Work of Millennial Farmers - PT. Kulaku Indonesia Sejahtera - PT. Indonesian Best Friends - Green Bell Indonesia. ECS is committed to helping send product samples and company profiles to buyers. In addition, there was an increase in participation with 14 new members registered with InaExport. Through this activity, it is hoped that it can provide new insights for business actors and encourage steps forward in the export sector.
